Patricia Cornwell. I especially enjoyed her earlier books. I thought she got tedious in her later books. But when she first started writing, I would buy her books in hard back because I couldn't wait to read them.

Verna, what are some of the good Patricia Cornwell books? I agree with you, many that have come out have been tendious, so I haven't really delved into her stuff. Any that you would recommend? Thanks

I just read The Surgeon - and I'm confused. In the last few pages Rizzoli credits Crowe with saving her life, but there's a scene where we see Dr Corrdell
dropping the gun - which hit Hoyt - to the ground. Which is it? I re-read a few times.

Can anyone clear this up for me? How did the dr get a gun?
