A woman is in a abusive marriage the man is a cop. She goes to the hospital a lot and she always has to say shes just clumsy or something like that. She leaves one day while he is at work I can't remember if she is pregnant when she leaves or he made he miscarry. She just starts walking down the road when shes leaves. Does this sound familiar to anyone please help.

No thats not it the woman in the book I'm looking for doesnt have any kids. I have never read her books before so I will give it a shot thanks.

Don't know if you have found it or not, but another book (made into a movie) is "Sleeping with the Enemy" ... and trying to remember the author - Nancy something... Its not the book you are looking for but same theme. The movie, same title, starred Julie Roberts & was very good. Easy to find. Enjoy!

Still haven't found it..... Nancey Price wrote sleeping with the enemy Good book and movie thanks. It's not Rose madder read that book many times thanks. I will post if I every find out what the book is and I don't believe I've ever read A flower in the wild I'll give it a try thanks.
