Do you now this book? asked 186 days ago by Bella - 2 answersfrom what i remember, the heroine wanted this other woman to find a suitable guy for her to spend the night with. When the guy comes over to the heroine's house one night, the heroine suddenly doesn't want to proceed with the plan anymore. So the woman asks the man(the main guy) how much he wanted for the night. He suddenly seems interested in her. He walks to her and asks her why she had wanted him there and why she would pay him when he hadn't even done what she had wanted in the first place. Possibly *Suddenly You* by Lisa Kleypas? A woman, Amanda, hires a madam to send a man over for Amanda's 30th bday-she's an author, unmarried and doesn't want to be a virgin any more. Once the guy gets there she changes her mind and later finds out that the madam played a trick on both her and the guy (not a gigolo at all but the owner of a publishing house, Jack Devlin, who wants to publish some of Amanda's work.) Naturally they fall in love and end up together after some drama, misunderstandings, etc... One of my favorite Kleypas books. YES! thank you!
