Does anyone know of a fictional children's book... asked 393 days ago by Emily - 3 answersDoes anyone know of a fictional children's book that was likely published in the 70ies or 80ies that was about two animal characters in search of bananas to make banana bread? I think one of the animals was an ape and I remember the illustrations looking pencil-like with pale yellow and pale blue colors. The characters were not well know (like Curious George) so I'm sure it is an obscure out-of-print hard-cover book. I have been searching for this book for over 15 years and would LOVE to find a title or author! Any help would be appreciated! Is this it? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0689842511/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/179-5202819-6466928 No, but thanks for your reply Angela!
