Finding time to read asked 1082 days ago by Stephen D. - 4 answersHow do you find time to read? Late at night, when the mind's tired, doesn't count. If you are a TV watcher in the evenings, force yourself to turn it down really low or off altogether. Having a book you really like or are interested in will help you find more time for reading... Good Luck! Make sure you always have a book with you...you never know when an opportunity to read will come up. I ride the bus to work, so I read on the way to/from work. Then, lunch time is also a good time to get some reading in. If you're waiting for dinner to be ready, read until the food is done cooking. If you travel for business or leisure, read while you wait for the plane and, of course, on the plane. I agree with everything Shae said, too, force yourself to turn off the TV and read as well, and if you do really like the book, nothing else will matter...you'll skip the tv show to get back to the book. Happy Reading! I find lunch time reading is an excellent way to recharge not only the body, but also the mind. I used to be a work through lunch, eat at my desk type of worker bee. But then I came to the realization that I wasn't as productive in the afternoons when I did that. So now I take my hour lunch whenever possible, and allow myself that time. Thanks, Rachel.
