Futuristic romance/mystery? asked 643 days ago by David L. - 3 answersMy wife has read all of J.D. Robbs' books, and is having a hard time finding good books set in the future, with an intelligent mystery plot, and elements of romance. After reading your question, I tried looking for romantic mysteries set in the future as well, and there just doesn't seem to be a lot, unless she likes science fiction and alien planets thrown into the mixture. However, when I searched for books that readers of J.D. Robb might enjoy, Alex Kava, Linda Howard, and Elizabeth Lowell came up a few times. I don't think they're set in the future, but they seem to have a similar style. Has she read any of them? chocalate is a brill one! Mary Quinn, or Agency is what I thought of, but it's supposed to mysteries, even though it's mostly kissing. Too much kissing, so it's a bad choice.
