George Washington asked 714 days ago by Maggie W. - 1 answerI'm looking for a good biography about George Washington for my dad for Father's Day, preferably a reasonably priced one. Any suggestions? Amazingly, unlike Truman or Adams or Jackson or Roosevelt, there's no "definitive" biography of George Washington... ...that doesn't mean there aren't any good one's though. I recommend "The Indespensible Man" by James Flexner. It's only $12.91 at Amazon (it's usually $18.99) Here's a link: http://bit.ly/d6tHmG I hope he enjoys it!
