Historical Mystery Books asked 166 days ago by Golddust - 1 answerThis year I'm participating in a Book Secret Santa. The person I got requested historical mysteries, dark and gritty is okay, and a bonus would be if they were set in New Orleans. Unfortunately I don't read mystery book at all. Any suggestions? Oh yes! Get her the first in the series by Barbara Hambly: A Free Man of Color. Takes place in New Orleans in the early 1800s. Fascinating! Another good series that takes place in New Orleans is by David Fulmer. The first is Chasing the Devil's Tail. Events take place in 1907.
