How can I get a book I've written reviewed? asked 1134 days ago by Joseph R. - 3 answers

I have written a book, and I am trying to get it reviewed. How can I do that with your company?

Joseph-

Hello from Flashlight World Headquarters! (otherwise known as my living room sofa.)

Congratulations on writing a book! Unfortunately I can't simply add it to a book list without having read it myself. However, I do have two ways to promote your book on Flashlight Worthy:

A Review Copy of the Book

-------------------------

First, if you'd like to send a review copy of your book, I'd be happy to keep it bedside and I might get to it... some day.

To be honest, the bedside stack is now literally taller than I am. And if I *do* read it, then I have to have a list that's appropriate for the book.

If you really want to brave the odds, the shipping address is:

Writing a List

--------------

Second, I'm sure you developed some depth in a particular field in writing this book. Would you like to put together a book list for Flashlight Worthy?

A list on Flashlight Worthy is a great way to build awareness for your book and to tell you the truth? It's a much, *much* better way to draw attention to your book than my simply including it as one of many books on a list.

While I can't accept a list that includes your *own* book on the list, your introduction, your byline and your bio could include links to your book on Amazon or whatever destination you like. See these lists for examples:

Let me know if you're interested by emailing me at info AT FlashlightWorthy DOT com and I'll send you more detail on what's needed for a list.

...that's pretty much it. Hope to hear from you soon one way or another.

A similar website to this one is called LibraryThing. You can run a member giveaway to send out e-copies or hard copies of your book for reviews from other members.

Thank you so much. I'm learning about so many web sites from fellow bloggers and friends. I'll check it out!
