I'm looking for a children's book about separation, or military parents... asked 748 days ago by Amanda B. - 2 answersI'm a military mother and have three children that I'm sometimes separated from, and have been looking for something that shows that a mother's love never ends -- it will travel over oceans if it has to. Any recommendations? Make me a Memory by Tamra Norton is about a girl whose Dad is deployed. Chosen as the state book-of-the-month for Utah a few years ago. Good luck! A Paper Hug is a good one, and there are quite a few similarly-themed books on the amazon page for it: http://www.amazon.com/Paper-Hug-Stephanie-Skolmoski/dp/0978642503 (Of course be sure to click through FLW if you're going to buy any of them...) :) Best of luck!
