Looking for a book (might have been a series) about a master smuggler asked 223 days ago by Bob - 1 answerI read them back in the late 60's and/or 70's. Either the AUTHOR or the protagonist had a Dutch name. "Piet" sticks in my head. Author may also have been a well known mystery writer (I was thinking Donald Westlake but I don't think so) Heh!! Answered my own question. My brain finally came up with the protagonist's name: Kek Huuygens. Author of the series WAS a well known writer: Robert L. Fish. Case Closed! Now to start re-reading them!
