I second the vote for Maisie Dobbs! I'm a huge fan of Maisie! Any books by S.R.Claridge are good mystery/suspense novels. Tetterbaum's Truth and the sequel, Traitors Among Us No Easy Way I loved The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Allan Bradley. It's narrated by a 12 year old British girl and appropriate for all ages, including adults.
