i need a romance book that keeps me reading and has some laughs. Do you know any?

elegance by kathleen tessaro. I remember loving The Left Bank as well - set in Paris, but I cannot remember the author. If you like some fantasy with your romance try the night circus. The love between the two main characters is central to the plot and whole feel of the story (which is beautiful and dreamy), but it isn't sappy, and there is so much more to it than a romance (I just read this and I've very enthuastic!).
