I'm looking for fantasy that has more in common with series concerning Gotrek and Felix, Drizzt Do'Urden and books such as Painted Man/Desert Spear, Name of the Wind, etc. Even though the whole series isn't translated, The Witcher is also a good example. Night Angel trilogy is something that I enjoyed as well (at least before it started going crazy with profanity and shallow dialogue).

The more action in the book, the better. The darker the main character, the better.

Check out Joe Abercrombie's First Law series, starting with The Blade Itself. It has some of the best fight scenes are some of the best I've ever read.

Enchantment by Orson Scott Card

Thank you for the suggestions. First Law series was good, and I'm almost done with the last book.

Enchantment doesn't seem like my type of book though.

C.J. Cherryh's Colfire Trilogy is a mix of SF and Fantasy, but feels more fantastic than SF. Its quite dark, and though its been a little while, I believe there is action scattered throughout. Hopefully it meets your criteria!
