Science Fiction Mythology asked 614 days ago by Staar - 4 answersI'm looking for books that blend Sci Fi and Mythology, like Stargate or American Gods by Neil Gaiman, or Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice (i.e. Earth mythology, especially Egyptian or Norse, or Ancient religions--not mythology created by the author). I'd like to avoid Young Adult books (like the Percy Jackson series) because I read a lot of YA for work. Thanks! The Firebrand by Mercedes Lackey. The Firebrand by Marion Zimmer Bradley (not Lackey). The best I've read are by Dan Simmons. I'm not drawn to SciFi, but I am drawn to mythology, and I loved "Ilium" and "Hyperion." War For The Oaks, by Emma Bull Empire of the East, by Fred Saberhagen Strands of Sunlight, by Gael Baudino I read all these and liked them a lot
