What should every high school senior read...and actually enjoy reading? Think world/ modern...not too risque...Thank you!!

Good readers will enjoy Catch22 / girls like Pride and Prejudice/ boys like The Great Santini / mature readers may like Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale /. And Crime and Punishment for the diligent god readers who are up to the challenge of Russian authors ( Anna Karenina also).

Most of these are on the AP list of books (advanced placement classes which are as rigorous as college freshman English classes)
