Shadow and Praise by Terry Wolverton? asked 269 days ago by Alex - 1 answerHas anyone ever read the poetry book Shadow and Praise by Terry Wolverton? I am looking for a prose poem I read several years ago, although I don't know the name or author of it. Here's a quote I found, apparently from Terry Wolverton's book, which I think might be from the poem I'm looking for: "She borrows my dreams, returns them smudged, broken". Would anyone know the name of this particular piece from the book and/or what it's about? Maybe send me a few quotes from it? The book doesn't seem to be in print anymore (or at least neither Amazon nor Barnes and Noble carries it) so I'm having trouble finding it myself. Thank you! The poem is "In praise of my doppelganger." It's published in SHADOW AND PRAISE by Terry Wolverton, which is available from amazon.com and from the publisher, Main Street Rag.
