Trying to remember the name of a neo-gothic book from the 90s. asked 205 days ago by Garvan - no answers yetI'm having trouble remembering the name of a neo-gothic book I read back in about 1996/97 by I believe a British author. The basic premise: a man inherits a family estate somewhere in Eastern Europe and he travels to check it out. His car gets stuck in a snow storm on a mountain side and he nearly dies. Creepy forests, superstitious locals, etc. There's also a parallel storyline happening in England at a boarding school where some creepy stuff is going on. I know, all sounds vague, but I cannot remember the name. Very creepy.
