What are some great epic mysterys? Possibly similar to the TV show lost? asked 357 days ago by Chris S. - 12 answers
The "Otherland" quad by Tad Williams. Atlas Shrugged
Stephen King: The Stand A different take on this series, but the Detective Shan mysteries by Eliot Pattison (there are five of them so far) beginning with The Skull Mantra. Good mysteries and some great cultural/religious insight about an area of the world (Tibet) you don't hear too much about.
"Desperation" by Stephen King or if you're not opposed to "comic books" try "Y: The Last Man" and "Ex Machina", both by Brian K. Vaughn (who also wrote for the TV show LOST). The Ripliad - The Thomas Ripley five-book series by Patricia Highsmith Begins with "The Talented Mr. Ripley" The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson and the other 2 sequels http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00527ULUU/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/179-3570829-0276449 The Great Stone Circle by Heather Maxwell *big smile* my book. :) Try the Just Call Me Angel series by S.R.Claridge. Book one is Tetterbaum's Truth and book two is Traitors Among Us. They are a guaranteed thrill ride! The Name of the Rose by Umberto Ecco the magicians tale cant remember author though sorry! Awsome book though!
