Which translation of Yevgeny Zamyatin's "We" would you recommend? asked 259 days ago by Hank - 1 answerUh, same question. I preferred the Mirra Ginsburg translation over the one done by Clarence Brown for the Penguin Classics Edition. I have not read the Bruce Sterling translation for the Modern Library Classics edition though. It is my opinion that the Ginsburg translation has better literary style; having no knowledge of the Russian language, I couldn't say which is better, though they're fairly identical in choice of diction.
