fiction book about the german bombing of leningrad asked 421 days ago by Cecile - 2 answers

someone recommended a great book about the German siege against Leningrad in WWII...but I can't remember the name. I thought it was Thieves in Leningrad but can't find it. Anyone? Thanks!

It's City of Thieves by David Benioff and it is a great book. I highly recommend it. I read it a few months ago, just after reading Vasily Grossman's Life and Fate about the siege of Stalingrad (I had a whole Soviet World War II theme going on ...). Life and Fate was one of the best books I've ever read in my life so I'd recommend that as well.
