fiction book about the german bombing of leningrad asked 421 days ago by Cecile - 2 answerssomeone recommended a great book about the German siege against Leningrad in WWII...but I can't remember the name. I thought it was Thieves in Leningrad but can't find it. Anyone? Thanks! It's City of Thieves by David Benioff and it is a great book. I highly recommend it. I read it a few months ago, just after reading Vasily Grossman's Life and Fate about the siege of Stalingrad (I had a whole Soviet World War II theme going on ...). Life and Fate was one of the best books I've ever read in my life so I'd recommend that as well. Thank you very much!
