op-ish children's book about color, with animals asked 779 days ago by Jeanne - no answers yetmy sisters & i had a spectacular book when we were little, circa mid- to late 1960s. it was about colors and featured a rainbow at some point, but the coolest part were mylar/acetate pages that each had a colored animal shape on them, and when they over-lapped, they made a new animal in a new color. i have never been able to find this book again, even in the internet age... it might have had a boy main character, and the main illustrations were likely black and white...
