why do people sound just like the books they have read??? asked 388 days ago by Rosemarie M. - 1 answerHi I am from Zurich Switzerland, pleas excuse my poor orthography...however, 3 x in my life now, have I, a 65 yr. old woman(Artist) met men, who were practically sleeping in bed with their books...in all three cases did I find their bedroom nighttables overloaded with 4 or 5 different books, some partially opend on the bed, as if they just had fallen asleep (without me of course) ... what was quiet disturbing for me, was the fact, that throughout their normal discussions with me, they all sounded more or less like the books they had read. this went on for hours, that I had to listen to them! Ok give me a break, I can read books to, but when I take a train for 5 hours to meet you, than it is rude and extremely impolite, when books have obsessed you and even your emotional life has come to a halt, due to permanently reading! Yet at the same time, all three men at least certified me, that I was very intelligent, haha....Nevertheless,I am not and never was a bookjunky.... However, I also noticed that all three of those book addicts , lacked extreme self-confidence??Is their an analysis excisting about extreme book addicts??? thanks for any feedback, being aware this might not be the right book question you intended to receive... no it isn't not at all. sounds like you need a relationship site to post on. and a new dating service...
